Executive Director and Occupational Therapist
Rebecca's claim to fame is that she was the first person born at the Pembroke Civic Hospital with the father present! Growing up in Petawawa, Rebecca is the middle child of five. She attended the University of Toronto to study Occupational Therapy, meeting Nik in her second year of school. They married and returned to the Valley to raise their two children one of whom has joined the family business in management, and one of whom is entering chiropractic college, soon to join the team as well! After moving back to Pembroke, Rebecca went to work at the Renfrew County CCAC as an Occupational Therapist. Like her father, she became involved in the management functions of the organization and saw it through changes into the Champlain CCAC. Rebecca held the position of Client Services Manager in charge of the Rehabilitation team. To better prepare for this role, Rebecca completed a Masters Certificate in Healthcare Management from the Schulich School of Business, York University. After 15 year with the CCAC, she made the leap to join her husband at Integrated Health Centre as the Executive Director. She truly enjoys going to work at the Centre, with a terrific team who cares about the clients and who believe in "Creating a Culture of Health" in our community!
